Sunday Run Of Hope 5K

Wizards Of The Coast was a big sponsor for this years Run Of Hope 5K and many of us signed up to participate in the race and associated walk.


Here I am at the finish line and sporting my Team Hasbro shirt with Mr. Potato Head. My time was right at 28 minutes but I don't know if the site will post the times. They had us wearing chips, so I would assume so but no updates to their website in the last 24 hours.

Enjoying The Navy Tributes In San Diego (30 Years Later)

Yes, I'm the guy to the far right in this 1981 picture of a nerdy gang of Electronic Technicians about the USS Samuel Gompers AD 37! It was quite a refreshing homecoming attending the 2011 FileMaker Developer Conference in San Diego last week and I tried to look up many of my old haunts. It was so cool to see how proudly San Diego is showing off its Navy roots in the form of an aircraft carrier available for tourists to explore / dine on and lots of amazing artwork!



The USS Midway, I didn't get a chance to explore her on this visit!



Tribute to the USS San Diego.





Any sailor that has been deployed is likely to have had an image in their minds just like this statues portrays while pulling into port. This thing is absolutely amazing!
