We stopped here again on the return trip from our Steve Prefontaine Memorial run weekend. Food and service was seriously awesome yet again!

2012 Steve Prefontaine Memorial Run

 

Here we are at the start of the 2012 Steve Prefontaine Memorial Run in Coos Bay Oregon! My brother was the runner in my family and he was always enamored with the Steve Prefontaine legend. I had seen the memorial run in some running site and had it on a mini bucket list for a couple years. Very thankful to God that I've been able to enjoy participating in events like these!

I didn't take that many pictures of this race. Here are a few of the ones at the starting line.

 

I didn't push myself too hard but I didn't take it too easy either. I just wanted to enjoy a challenging run and drink in the atmosphere of this race. I ended up in the middle at finisher 388 out of 810 runners. Brenda came in at the upper middle area at finisher 666.

 

Yesterday At Woodland Zoo In Seattle

Also from yesterday, went to one of Brenda's coworkers daughters birthday party at Woodland Zoo in Seattle. The first time I was ever there, here a picture just before we were leaving at the penguin exhibit.
